Our Story
Welcome and thanks for visiting our website! We are Scott and Katie Moore. Scott works full time as a counselor and Katie is a physical therapist turned real estate investor/property manager. Although we never intended to become rental property owners, hospitality has always been a core value of ours. So here we are - physical therapist turned property manager and counselor turned "handyman". :)
We started this rental business in 2021 with our first property on Grand Blvd. The house and 2 of the apartments quickly rented leaving us with just a single, 1 bedroom-1 bathroom apartment to fill. So we looked around for furniture and came up with a unique airbnb setting. The experience of hosting and getting to incorporate so many parts of our community into this property (coffee from a local coffee shop, cookies from Bake My Day Bakery, Soap from a local artisan, and art draping the walls representing local artists from Mobile) started the itch to create more spaces just like it! And here we are - 7 properties and 18 units later, we have tried to keep the "local" feel. People ask all the time what my (Katie) favorite part of doing this job is... and hands down - it's the people I have met and the relationships I've built. I still keep in contact with many past renters to this day! It's true that I have always loved meeting new people, but getting to help someone have the most enjoyable experience possible in our beautiful city has really given me so much joy.
